3 Minute Monday – Top 10 Episodes, Sex & Creeping

3 Minute Monday

Hi friend,

Bonjour from Las Vegas.

The last few days have been insane – after NYC last week, I’ve just recorded the biggest production episode in Vegas that we’ve ever filmed with one of the best known humans on the planet.

This is getting released in mid-January and I absolutely can’t wait to show you.

I can’t announce the guest just yet, but all will be revealed in the new year. Frankly it’s killing me to have to sit on the episode for a few weeks because I know how good it is, but it’ll be worth the wait I promise.

This is the last newsletter before the festivities so I figured I’d give you a recap to round out the year.

Below is a list of the Top 10 most played episodes on audio of 2022, in order.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, that epic Peterson episode came in at #1, it’s still so so good.

Great to see Gurwinder in the charts too, that guy is insanely smart and he deserves way more attention.

Anyway, all the links for Spotify and Apple Podcasts are below, go back and check some of these monsters out.

If you would like to get me a present for Christmas, all I’d ask of you is to copy the link from whichever of these episodes are your favourites and send them to some friends. Tell them to Subscribe too pls.

The only way this show grows is from people like you sharing it to people like you so these shares make a huge difference.

A massive thank you to everyone that’s been supporting the show throughout this year, Spotify said Modern Wisdom is in the top 1% shared of all shows globally in 2022. This squad is strong.

Merry Christmas everyone. Enjoy the holidays.

I do a podcast which has had 100 million+ downloads. You should subscribe on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.

This week’s upcoming episodes:

Dr Jonathan Shedler – a great list of psychoanalytical concepts to better understand yourself with. Some fantastic insights here which I’d never heard of before.

Dean Rickles – a philosopher’s view on how to deal with the shortness of life. What purpose does life have if it’s guaranteed to end? How can you reliably live a life you’ll be satisfied with?

No episode on Saturday, enjoy the turkey!

People are less sexually liberal than I’d expect.

When it comes to first-date sex, here’s how American adults view it:

5% said it is always acceptable.

25% said it is sometimes acceptable.

27% said it is rarely acceptable.

42% said it is never acceptable.

*Let’s remember that these are stated, not revealed preferences.

The truth is unfortunately surprising.

“It is discouraging how many people are shocked by honesty and how few by deceit” ― Noël Coward

Concept Creep.

“As a social issue such as racism or sexual harassment becomes rarer, people react by expanding their definition of it, creating the illusion that the issue is actually getting worse.” — Gurwinder Bhogal

Always remember the server’s name in a restaurant.

You’ll get served faster, you’ll get extras for free and it feels so much nicer than screaming excuse me across a room.

Highly recommended for Vegas.

Big love,
